LASIK Surgery

LASIK Surgery

LASIK (known as Laser in-situ keratomileusis), is often used to correct eye vision. This complex surgery, if used properly, can effectively correct myopia or hyperopic vision.

Laser vision surgeries can be used to reshape the cornea, so that light can be clearly focused onto the retina. Laser vision surgeries are usually very effective, but the cornea tissue will be changed, this change is permanent and it can not be reversed.

After surgeries, healing is usually very fast. Most patients have improved eye vision, and they no longer need corrective eyewear. But some patients may experience temporary discomfort. Other side effects may also include: glare, halos, dry eyes and fluctuating vision.
