Eye Safety

The following factors often cause eye injuries: flying objects, air particles, tools, chemical substances, eyelash curler, mascara brushes, fingernails, blunt trauma, sport injury. But in most cases, these injuries are preventable.

Saftey glasses or protective goggles can be used to prevent eye injuries, because these glasses conform to higher safty standards. Many occupations require high-impact protective eyewear, e.g. carpenters, plumbers, pipe fitters, machinists and so on.

Many sport activities require protective eyewear. Hunting and fishing also require safty glasses. Photochromic lenses are more suitable for outdoor activities. When participating the sports and recreational activities, children should always wear protective eyewear.
